Camp 5 with the fam

It's been awhile since my sister started bugging my family to go rockclimbing, and since the rect Tuesday was a Public Holiday we decided to fulfil the little wish to join Camp5. Monday itself I went to their website to check them out and realized they have courses for beginners, Basic Wall Course and Taster Course I think.

Basic Wall Course (BWC) is 4 hours long and RM100/- per person. This course teaches you the safety of rock climbing, belaying and stuff; where as Taster Course prolly you get to taste all the walls. HAHAH

So on Tuesday morning itself, I called them up, enquiring about the course and asking to reserve for me and my siblings. The BWC course will only be held if there is 4< students, maximum of 12 students. So to have 4 students, my dad had to join 3 of us kids.

Our coach of the day was Ana, from Columbia if I am not mistaken. She was hell buff guys. F I T. The course started of with her explaining every single gear for rock climbing, from the harness, to the devices and the shoes. Then after they thought us how to tie a figure of eight loop for the climber. We did a few times, and had to stay a little longer because my sister didn't exactly get the hang of it. Then after it was the time to learn how to belay another. Initially we were all belaying a 5kg sand bag, there is 5 steps to belaying (: which was honestly really fun, after some time of practising she made her compete with one another because when we are actually belaying a climber, we have to go according to the climber's speed. And guess what, I won the challenge! (: Hurhur.

Then after Ana asked if we are ready to belay one another, this is the exciting part. It was really nice, daddy belayed Charlene first, since she is the lightest. So after a few practices then Chadric had to belayed daddy. Chadric was slow but Ana was really patient and really thought him really well after several practices then it was my turn, so I belayed Charlene a few times, then she had to belay me.
Note: Charlene is 13 with the size of a 11. She is small
So, Ana addd a 15kg sandbag to add on as weight. No doubt I'm such heavier, so otw up it was okay but the lowering part was a little too fast, and I had to save myself. HAH. Other than that it was good! (:

There are words as commands for climbing
Belay On
Climbing
Climb On
Tighten
Tight
Lower Me
Lowering

After that we went to the Blouder Wall, where you can climb without a harness or a belayer. Its low but not as easy as you think. /: After that we received our certs! (: Heh which will be shown below. (: We are now official belayers for Camp5! (: Then we went to rent the harnesses, shows and a belay device. Sister got really addicted to the auto wall, where you can climb without a belayer.

After climbing mummy came and have dinner with us then we went home! :D

All in all it was a nice day, as we got to climb and spend a whole lot of time with the family! (:

Eggcited faces otw to Camp5

Belayer & BWC gradutes from Camp5! :P

ITS REALLY AMAZING!

on leave

Very much I took leave from work today, hahaa just because I needed to service my car, pay for saman (gosh), certify my certs for registration of degree, register uni and meet up with my girls! (: Yeap, it is really a lot for just one day. SERIOUSLY.

So, I woke up late, because my phone decided to fail me again, hence I woke up rushing. Yesterday I baked cupcakes! Yes, today there shall be photos, (: HAHHAHA. I successfully made it without the it cracking, it is very much an achievement considering that all this while that I've been baking, it's been cracking. SO YAY! SUCCESS! :D So the trick is, at a certain temperature when the cupcake is about half baked, you lower the temperature from time to time, but not too much. Eg. if it was initially 175 Celsius with the time of 25 minutes, you can reduce the temperature till 160 after 10-12 minutes of baking and slowly reduce at most 150 degree Celsius, however, it might not be fully baked after 25 minutes, because that was what happened to me, not being cook in a sense that when I put a toothpick in, it was still wet, hence I let it baked for another 10 - 15 minutes at a temperature of 160 degree Celsius. Yeap, that was very much it. (: BIG YAYS.

If you realized, the cupcake more towards the left is kinda pointy, thats the failed one. HEH

THESE ARE THE SUPPER SUCCESSFUL ONES. HEH

Before being squashed by the cover of the box, the cakes look pretty nice. HAHAHHA

NOT BAD LEH WEEEE. MUCH YAYS

And this morning I had to beat the frosting again because it kind looks weird la.Then, I added the toppings, packed them up and headed out to service my car. I took another cupcake without a frosting and made it breakfast. (: Once I arrived to the service centre, as I took a bite on my cake, I realized that most of the employees there were Muslims, and right now it the Puasa month, whereby Muslims are to fast until 7.30pm plus and minus, and I went, HOLY CRAP, kay fine, hide the cake and settle the car. So I went out and decided to take another bite, i dropped half the cake on the floor. Yes, I just watched my breakfast drop on the floor. So, no more. ): After that, daddy picked me up to the police station to pay for saman, but the police station near Tai Tong at SS(idk what) do not take saman, and only the USJ 8 police station does. Since I was rushing, I decided to pay later when I collect my car.

Daddy dropped me at Pyramid, so I am able to get 2 packets of Lays potato chips for Mr. Chan, my psychology lecturer, because he was a good lecturer la, since I got a B for psychology in my AS results, which I was really satisfied with, if some of you feel that B is shit, I really didn't seem like I was even ready for exam. Hence, I'm a happy child. So right after, I walked to Sunway University, and realized, HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, uni is filled with humans. I swear, it is so full you actually get annoyed. Its like as though you walked into a market and everything is free. Serious shit guys. Anyway, me being a bitch, I decided to call Mr. Chan in the canteen where everybody is every where. And obviously I cant hear shit, I shouted at the phone, 'SIR I CANNOT HEAR YOU LA, CANTEEN, UNI DAMN a LOT OF PEOPLE RIGHT, DAMN SHIT A LOT OF PEOPLE', yes, most of them stared at me. Well, I am a bitch and move-aside, I need to walk. So ya, was stared at by the new intakes. Note: GUYS I'VE ALREADY GRADUATED, DON'T LOOK AT ME.

Heres me in my daddy'd car

and me in my car before service. HAHHHA

As I was at the registry, the counter told me I couldn't certify my certificate because I only brought the photocopy, well, I wasn't told that it was important, so I didn't bring it. And the counter lady told me it was necessary for me to bring it or else she can't certify my certificate. Which literally pissed me off because I kind of took leave today, hence the need of me being able to certify and register today itself. So the conversation very much went like this.
"is there anyway for me to certify this? I have my IC here with me, and what else you want?"
"Sorry, the procedure is that we need the original copy"
"I don't have the time to go back home and get it for you, I need it now, today."
"I can pass you to the senior operator, but there is nothing I can do."
"NO, do something about it, I need it done."
"Okay, maybe you can go find Mr. Raj (A Levels head)"
and so, I did. Hoping he certifies my certificate.
(another long conversation of me asking him to certify my cert, because it is super necessary)
guess what?, he did! WEE YAY ME.

And so, I Whatsapp-ed Mr Chan again asking where he is and I passed him the cake, a card of stupid stuff and the potato chips. And if you're wondering why potato chips, it because I kind of made a bet with him which I was losing already, but he was a douche. So I took it, lost it. DAMN, just realized I didn't take a photo of the cake. Aww. Anyway, so after that I went to Brickfields Area College (BAC), my future degree place, to register. Yeap, I totally did not bring my parents there, I just paid. HAHAHA, well because recently, me and my family went to an Education Fair and had already signup all I needed to do was pass my Certs and fees and photos.

Then picked up Alison from BAC, she was there waiting for me, then we went to Oasis Square, Ara Damansara. And we hangout, had lunch at Ali Muthu and AhHock, it was okay, not bad. HAHAHHA and then we took a whole lot of pictures with Sabrina and Liwei, no Shin Wern because she in Japan, she too cool for us and Brenda stays in Miri. And by the time we finished it was already like 4.30pm and jam already started because puasa month. Everybody tends to leave office early, and there goes my chance of getting my car. HENCE I AM CAR-LESS RIGHT NOW. MUCH SAD. ): But I became happy again, when I went to have MyBurgerlab. YAY ME.

ME IN MY NETHERLANDS SHIrT. Yes if you realized early the day I wasn't wearing it, because somebody really important gave me this shit half way through the day, which definitely made my day, and no doubt, made me the luckiest (:

I look fabuuuuu. :P hurhur. Btw, thats LIWEI! :D

Alison, :P HAHHA YES, WE ARE ALL ON THE GROUND AHHAHAHAH

well, there were balls and I was wearing a jersey, so why not right? HAHAHHAHA

The sun out of no wear came out, and so, i sat right beside the huge flower pot and decided to find some shade! HAHAHHA! :D (ignore my super kang kang legs)

Not bad right? I took one leh! HAHHAHAHA

Maine : Li Wei : Alison : Sabrina
yes, I am always the super retarded one, but isokei, they love me for who I am. ahhaha

AND THIS WAS MY LOVELY DINNER

So after that I went to Pyramid to search for some stuff, and was dropped off at SS18 while waiting for brother to finish tuition and I went home, bathe watch tv series, and here I am right now, writing this post prolly for no one to read, but writing because it was definitely a good day. (:

Long but a good day.

happy 52th birthday daddy

Not a single second my daddy is getting younger by age, yes neither of us are. Hence the very need of me blogging. I blog mainly because I will never want to forget memories that I've made with the ones I love. Because at the end of the day, once you are retired from work, old age, we do not have much of what we can do. Yes, we do yearn for that day we can just sit home and do nothing, but what if doing nothing till the end of life. Then, is when you start missing the memories, we will start having flash backs on what happened when, where, with whom. And to remember everything, I am here today blogging about what happened this
day, July 1st. (:

Nothing significant happened in the office today, I was helping to do research regarding the Malayan Civil Procedure and Rules of Court under Order 29 - injunction. Previously, it was just regarding the application of injunction, but today it was more on preserving the property when the and actually has a sentimental value.

Me, being lazy and stubborn, I decided to not pump petrol this morning leaving it with 45km drive left. Due to the endless jam of Malaysia, by the time I was at office it was already less than 30km. So when I decided to leave office for daddy's birthday dinner, the lights was blinking already when I only just arrived to the barrier of the office building, and yes, I panicked, praying that there is sufficient petrol to survive the journey home, and it did. My baby boy will never fail me. (:

So we decided to head to eCurve for Tony Roma's. Honestly speaking, this is prolly my first time eating an actually rib that has the bones sticking out the end of the meat, so I was pretty excited. Yes I am very much a jakun, but sorry la, it never occurred to me to eat ribs because I always preferred fish and chips. Heh. So, jakun me was pretty happy and satisfied with dinner. We definitely ordered a little too much, also hacing their portion a little huge, we ate in much pain.

Then after that we sang the birthday song, Tony Roma's came with brownies with vanilla ice cream. Eventhough I am not much of a sweet tooth, it was good brownies, and ice cream. Since we were so full, me and my brother decided to go for a walk around Curve and get some photos. :P If you are wondering why I do not post photos, I am just lazy to transfer it from my camera to my laptop. So when I do that, all photos will suddenly appear. (:

It was nice, seeing those smiles on my family's faces. They looked happy. I always liked it when my family is happy. Dear mum, I'm sorry I tend to sound loud and rude. I really didn't mean it, sigh. I'm sorry. I love you. I do.

Also, to daddy, thank you for everything you've done for me. Everyday you remind me to study, to fetch siblings, to work hard, to appreciate everything. Never will I ever forget. Remember that time when you sent me for the seminar in Singapore, Ernest Wong? They told me to record you when you are scolding me, because when I actually went overseas, I will miss all of that, and even when we do see each other on Skype, you won't actually scold me anymore because you'd rather appreciate the time to talk to me and not argue with me. To also have more reason to create memories, I'll try my best to never miss breakfast with you and Yeh Yeh. (: Although we don't talk much, but it's the company that makes the difference.

Happy birthday papa, I love you.

panda and food

Yesterday, 29th June, Sister, cousins and their kawans along with me, decided to go for some panda admiring in the Zoo. So yeah, there was 9 of us.

Cousins fetched me and my sister form home at around 8.00am, then we went to get the boyfriend, and friend then headed to The Peak, Bangsar to get another 3. And off we headed to the zoo, Zoo Negara.

Zoo Negara is prolly the most legit Zoo you can find in Malaysia, since it is the National Zoo. First impression was crap, I guess they were kinda under construction, since Liang Liang, 亮亮 and Xing Xing 幸幸. whom were initially FengYi and FuWa, but Malaysia decided to rename them are in Malaysia. They are right now, the main attraction in Malaysia, since it is suppose to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Malaysia's relationship with China. (:

After so many years, prolly 16 years ago, I am back, to the National Zoo. Recently I've went to a few country's zoo, in particularly Pattaya, Thailand, which I remember oh-so-clearly, since I was just there few months ago. Hence I was pretty excited, wondering how Malaysia's National Zoo looks like.

We arrived pretty early, I'd say for people that is touring around the Zoo, the entry fees was RM30 and an additional RM20 for Panda sighting. Yeap, we have to pay an extra RM20 to see pandas that are shipped from China. We went in and was kind of lost, having no idea what to do till 10.20am which was the time we were to see the Giant Pandas. It was around 9.40, so we decided to walk to the exhibition hall, which is prolly 30 minutes walk, on the way we saw animals, well duhh, but they look miserable and sad.

It's like there was only 2 animals in my box along with a signboard telling us the origin of the animal and details. As we continue walking, we saw an amount of birds, that look like Flamingos but they aren't pink wandering around the Zoo freely. We saw emu, camels and typical zoo stuff. Also we saw tapir, which apparently many claim to look like the pandas, since they do too have black and white colors, but truth to be told, Malayan Tapir, you will lost hands down, you ain't fluffy or cute. Sorry guys.

As we approached the Panda Hall, it was a clearly a newly built building, air conditioned mainly to allow the pandas to be able to survive the weather. There was a speaker in the hall before we went in the viewing sight, however he was speaking in Malay, and my opinion, as a National Zoo, we would very much expect tourist from all countries to be visiting. Hence even if we are not able to find speakers that speak in all languages, but at least English, the universal language? This is very disappointing, also because in our group, there are two Caucasian girls, from the US.

We were then allowed to go view the pandas. Heads Up: ONLY 15 MINUTES VIEW TIME. Yeap, this was sad, to make full use of it, we snapped many photos, and watch cute pandas eat and sleep and poo and continue eating. HAHA, they are no doubt very cute. So panda eats like 30kg of bamboo shoots a day, and they don't hibernate because bamboo does not provide enough nutrition for extreme sleep. Pretty educational I'd say (:

From this experience I got to learn that in the whole world, the only place that Pandas exist is Si Chuan, China. And due to the baffling earthquake, and the increasing population of China having to cut down jungles, Giant Pandas are facing extinction. That is really sad though, honestly. They are such a cute bear that is practically the 'luxury life' as some might say. All they do is, eat bamboo, sleep, shit, wake up, eat sleep, shit, wake up. No joke guys.

After that, we went to see the typical animal shows that Zoo often provides. Malaysia, I'm sorry but it's real bad. We need better entertainment, that's for sure. However one of the nice interesting animals was Rhinos and White Tiger. They looked strong and healthy and honestly, phenomenal. After that we went to see the famous Orang Utan, and Chimps. And after a few more animals we headed to a shop, Pan Heong, a little after Batu Caves.

THEY HAS THE GOOD SHANGHA WA TAN HOR,
Serious, it was really good, looks good, tastes good. Well definitely good food requires a little sacrifices, we kinda waited for about 30 minutes for sitting and another for food arrival, but it was definitely worth it. It was good food, and after devided by 9, each person has to only pay RM31.22. Really worth it. (:

After that I headed home, bathe, and took a really long nap. Was asked to wake up and change to go for a family dinner celebrating my dad's early birthday. (: We went to this shop named Evo, Seksyen 17. Junction of Jaya One further down. According to my parents it was a really old shop already, initially it was called Castell but now, it's Evo. I ordered Spaghetti Aglio Olio, which was really good and worth it. However there was really little customers. The staffs there are friendly and really kind, we had 2 brownies on the house too.

That very much summed up yesterday. I did actually lived a little like those Pandas, eat sleep eat sleep. HAHAH.

It's Daddy's birthday! (:

I'm back

Definitely not the first person that decided tor revive her blog because life's just getting really bored, I'm no different. Had the thought to re-live my extremely not only dead but hopeless blogging skills, after my A2 exams, well, I'm obviously really living the whole procrastinating life well. :P

I'm here also because recently I've started to realized that you just don't get to remember everything that happens everyday, and I honestly want to look back to my blog one fine day, and read what happened months ago, years ago, or even just last week. Every night before I sleep, I tend to tell myself my day ended well, I hope to remember all these laughter I made today in the coming years, but nope, I don't remember them, hence the extreme need to blog, very much just for my own memories.

I do not know how am I to start, but I'm just gonna simply start of with what happened last week which as of now I remember. (:

wishing this blog will successfully be re-lived.
